The purpose of An Munia Tober is to provide self identity and capacity building within the Traveller community, dedicated to this task is, "Mark Donahue" our equality officer.
At An Munia Tober we work with non Traveller Organisations to raise awareness of the cultural circumstances and aspirations of Travellers and the promotion of Anti Racism.
An Munia Tober believes that as Northern Ireland becomes an increasingly multi cultural society, equality awareness must be at the forefront of education and government legislation.
Mark Donahue and John Mongan In 2000 developed a cultural Awareness Training Program which is available from An Munia Tober. This project has been continually updated to reflect the changes in society and legislation directly effecting the Traveller Community.
